Eligibility Criteria for Assam Legislative Assembly Secretariat 2024
- Additional Secretary:
- Minimum 7 years of experience as Joint Secretary or equivalent in any Government Department of Assam.
- Sound knowledge in Constitutional Law and Parliamentary Practice & Procedure.
- Preference given to candidates with a Bachelor of Law degree from any recognized University.
- Age between 50 and 55 years.
- Protocol Officer:
- Master’s Degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks from a recognized University.
- 4 years of working experience in any Government/Semi-Government office/organization.
- Candidates with a degree in Tourism & Hospitality Management will be preferred.
- Age between 30 and 40 years.
- Language Reporter Grade-II:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce.
- Certification in Stenography in Assamese from a recognized institute.
- Adequate knowledge of computer application with DTP in Assamese.
- Age between 21 and 38 years.
- Assistant Librarian:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science.
- 5 years of experience dealing with Library Management in a reputed institution/organization.
- Practical knowledge in digital Library.
- Age between 21 and 38 years.
- Stenographer Grade-III (English):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce.
- Certification in Stenography from ITI in Assam or any other recognized institute.
- Adequate knowledge of computer application and proficiency in English.
- Age between 21 and 38 years, with a relaxation of up to 5 years for ST (P) candidates.
